Introduction to MuscleTech Test HD Super Elite

MuscleTech is a well-known and respected brand in the supplement industry, owned by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. and founded in 1998. Their Test HD Elite testosterone booster comes with a recommended serving size of 3 capsules, which is ideal for optimal results. The nutrient profile looks promising, as there are no proprietary blends and ingredients that can improve strength and endurance, such as Ashwagandha Extract and Zinc and Boron, are included. Unfortunately, there is no Vitamin D3 present.

MuscleTech Test HD Elite Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Zinc and Boron have been found to potentially increase testosterone levels
  • Ashwagandha Extract may enhance strength
  • No ingredients that are known to cause severe side effects.

Cons

  • The dosage of Zinc is slightly too high and could cause side effects if taken in excess
  • Does not contain some key testosterone-boosting nutrients, such as Vitamin D3, D-AA
  • May not be good value for money.

MuscleTech Test HD Elite Ingredients

Zinc is a great mineral that has been proven to increase testosterone levels. It’s important to be aware of the daily tolerable upper limit of 40mg, as consuming more than this can result in unwanted side effects. MuscleTech includes 10mg of zinc, which allows for you to still enjoy other zinc-rich foods. Ashwagandha Extract is a herb that has been used in ayurvedic medicine for a very long time and is known to improve strength and endurance, but it has not been known to have any effect on testosterone levels. A better nutrient for testosterone levels would have been Vitamin D3 in a dosage of 3,332IU-5,000IU per serving. Pedalium Extract is not included in MuscleTech’s Test HD Super Elite, which is a good thing, as it has been known to increase prostate weight and has not been reliable at boosting testosterone levels.

Test HD Super Elite is a testosterone booster supplement that claims to increase testosterone levels. However, the ingredients it contains, such as Broccoli Extract, Amla Extract and Grape Extract, have not been proven to have significant impact on testosterone levels.

While Broccoli Extract may help prevent the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, and Boron may provide some benefits, they are not strong enough to have a major impact. Similarly, Amla Extract and Grape Extract may provide some benefits, but they have not been proven to increase testosterone levels.

The product misses out on Vitamin D3, one of the best nutrients to reliably boost testosterone levels, with dosages of 3,332IU-5,000IU.

The Tribulus Extract, Shilajit Extract, and Bioperine found in Muscletech Test HD have been used in ayurvedic medicine for centuries to promote libido, sexual drive, and heart health in men. However, not many studies have been able to find evidence that Tribulus Extract can naturally boost testosterone. Similarly, while Shilajit Extract is believed to slow aging and boost health and strength, clinical studies are limited and there is little proof to suggest that it can boost testosterone.

Lastly, Bioperine, which is Black Pepper Extract, can enhance the taste of meals and improve digestion and absorption of supplements, but it does not raise testosterone levels.

Muscletech HD vs Muscletech HD Elite

Muscletech HD is made with a range of ingredients, some of which have anecdotal evidence supporting their inclusion. However, the vitamin blend is lacking in quality, and the doses of some of the scientifically validated ingredients are too small to be effective. Overall, Muscletech Test HD is not the best test booster on the market, and the Elite version is only marginally better.

User reviews on MuscleTech Test HD

Customer feedback for Muscletech Test HD is mainly positive, with an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Many reviews highlight the affordability of the product as it contains low doses of most key ingredients. Additionally, many people have found that it can help them train harder and promote quicker physical changes than usual.

However, it should be noted that there are more effective testosterone boosters for only a few extra dollars. Additionally, there are some reports of negative side effects such as feeling ill or not experiencing any effects at all. This can be off-putting for many, as it could lead to feeling unwell with no results to show for it.

Bottomline on MuscleTech Test HD

We are not impressed with MuscleTech’s Test HD product. Although it may be beneficial for strength training, it is unlikely to have a significant impact on lean muscle growth or energy levels. If you are looking for an affordable product to help you gain a bit of muscle size or lean muscle mass while you are already working out, Test HD may be suitable. However, there are better budget choices on the market, and if you are looking for the best value for your money, there are better options out there. Vitamin D3 is a key ingredient for boosting testosterone levels, but unfortunately, MuscleTech chose to use less common ingredients in T boosters like Broccoli Extract, Amla extract instead. We believe that a dosage of 3,332IU-5,000IU of Vitamin D3 would be optimal for increasing testosterone levels.
