The nutrient profile is pretty similar to other whey proteins out there. Some highlights of APS 100% Grass Fed Whey:

The product stacks up pretty well as far as nutrient content goes. One serving contains 130 calories, 2 grams of fat, 3 grams of sugars, and 23 grams of protein. It mixed well, and the French Vanilla flavor tasted pretty good. This product would be nice for anyone needing a gluten free diet, or just wanting to eat as “clean” as possible, but still wanting to supplement.

Best tasting grass fed protein around. I typically mix with almond milk or water and maybe a half banana. The chocolate is excellent.

The picture makes it look like you are getting a good amount for what you are shelling out. Don’t be fooled this is more expensive than a 4 pound of monster milk. You will get very little.

Other useful information

The protein itself is the next item to look at when judging the quality of a protein powder. The key feature that stands out with this product is that the protein is from 100% grass fed cows that are also hormone- and antibiotic-free.

This means no contaminants will spill over into your protein powder. The whey is also concentrate, rather than isolate.

Bottomline

Providing 23 grams of protein in every serving (1 scoop), APS Complete 100% Grass Fed Whey Protein has caught our attention as one of the better whey protein supplements. It’s packed with vitamins, perhaps not enough to replace a multi-vitamin supplement, but since you’ll be ingesting it in liquid form it’s more likely to be absorbed than your typical multi-vitamin capsule.

Then there’s the taste – the Bavarian Chocolate would be great mixed with 10 oz water plus as much chocolate milk as you wanted and the French Vanilla was as good as any other we’ve tried. Overall, this is definitely a higher quality protein supplement than most other products.
