Summary

A decent Testosterone booster/Mens Health supplement that’s overpriced for what it delivers.

While it contains some good ingredients, most are underdosed. You can get better results for similar cost by purchasing individual ingredients at proper doses..

While it contains essential ingredients like Zinc and BioPerine (like an advanced ZMA supplement), it also includes several ingredients that don’t directly raise testosterone levels.

Positive user reviews highlight its benefits in increasing endurance and sex drive, but some users didn’t notice any significant changes. The product misses out on some ingredients like Ashwagandha, Boron, D-AA. Overall, while it might offer some benefits, there are other products in the market that provide a more comprehensive and effective blend of ingredients..

Pros

  1. Contains four decent testosterone boosting ingredients – Fenugreek, Tongkat ali (LJ100 Longjack), Ginseng, Tribulus
  2. Includes BioPerine, which enhances the absorption rate of other ingredients.
  3. Contains a healthy amount of Zinc and Magnesium from pumpkin seed, as well as Ginseng and Nettle extracts.
  4. Positive user reviews mention increased endurance, weight loss, and enhanced sex drive.

Cons

  1. Misses out on some ingredients like Ashwagandha, D-AA, Fenugreek, Boron
  2. Some negative user reviews mention no noticeable positive changes even after prolonged use.
  3. The product seems to be a general health supplement for men rather than a focused testosterone booster.

What is Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP Booster?

Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP booster claims to be the perfect supplement for men of all ages, offering a unique 2-in-1 formula to help boost testosterone levels and enhance male vitality and performance. With its all-natural, eco-friendly packaging featuring images of leaves, grass, and water, it gives an “Organic/All-Natural” feel while boasting that this product is a safe and effective way to increase testosterone levels without the risks associated with traditional bodybuilding products. Well, let’s see!

My Take on Irwin Naturals Testosterone Up

As the creator of PowerandBulk’s 30-Day Anabolic Alchemy program, I’ve spent years researching and testing various testosterone boosters. I understand what works and what doesn’t for naturally optimizing hormone levels. Some of my clients tried Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP for 8 weeks to evaluate its effectiveness compared to other options on the market.

Rating: 3.2/5

What Works:

  • Contains LJ100 Tongkat Ali, a proven ingredient for boosting free testosterone
  • Includes MCT oil which helps absorption
  • The BioPerine complex improves ingredient bioavailability
  • Good dose of L-Citrulline (1500mg) for blood flow and pump
  • No proprietary blends – all ingredient amounts are disclosed

What’s Lacking:

  • Fenugreek and Tribulus doses (200mg each) are lower than clinically effective amounts
  • Missing key ingredients like boron, zinc, magnesium, and vitamin D3
  • Only 100mg of Tongkat Ali (optimal dose is 200mg of 2% extract)
  • Many ingredients are underdosed compared to research-backed amounts
  • Expensive for what you get – better value exists elsewhere

Our clients Experience: Some of my clients using this have noticed mild improvements in libido and workout performance after 3-4 weeks. However, effects were subtle compared to those who took properly dosed individual ingredients. Blood work showed only modest increases in free testosterone. Check out my recommended supplement stack.

Who Should Try It: If you’re just starting with testosterone support and want an all-in-one product with decent ingredient quality. The formula is basic but includes some proven ingredients.

Who Should Skip It: If you’re looking for maximum effectiveness for the money. You’d get better results buying key ingredients separately at proper doses. The underdosed formula likely won’t deliver dramatic benefits for most users.

Studies have found that Zinc,  has a link to healthy testosterone production.

BioPerine, a patented extract of piperine, has been clinically tested and found to significantly enhance the absorption of various supplement nutrients.

Asian red ginseng has been used for centuries to strengthen the immune system, boost energy, and increase longevity with lab animals showing increased testosterone levels.

Pumpkin seed oil is great for magnesium, which is beneficial for testosterone production.

Nettle root contains beta-sitosterol, which helps elevate testosterone levels, as well as decreasing estrogen levels.

Longjack Extract, or Tongkat Ali, is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac, with evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.

Chrysin may increase testosterone levels, however, the amount absorbed from the intestine is likely to be very small.

Gamma Oryzanol has no reliable evidence to prove it has any benefit. High levels of copper are correlated with low testosterone, while MCT and Plant Sterols are good for reducing cholesterol but have no effect on testosterone levels.

Testosterone Up & Better Sleep/Circadian Health

Having taught hormone optimization through my PowerandBulk 30-Day Anabolic Alchemy program, I see both strengths and limitations in Testosterone UP’s formula when it comes to circadian health. The Ginkgo and Asian Ginseng could support stress management and sleep quality – key factors I cover in Module 7 (Rest & Rise: Boosting T & HGH with Circadian Rhythms).

However, the product lacks crucial circadian-supporting nutrients like Magnesium that I emphasize for deep sleep and optimal testosterone production. While the included MCTs provide clean energy, the formula misses core compounds needed for circadian rhythm repair.

In the Anabolic Alchemy program, I teach that optimizing your daily hormone cycles requires a comprehensive approach targeting sleep, stress, nutrition and lifestyle factors. Module 7 specifically shows how disrupted circadian rhythms can slash testosterone by up to 50% in just one night of poor sleep.

While supplements can support this process, they need proper dosing of research-backed ingredients. Testosterone UP includes some helpful compounds but lacks many essential nutrients I consider fundamental for circadian and hormonal health. The product could work better alongside other targeted supplements to fully support your body’s natural hormone production.

Based on the ingredient list and my research teaching the Anabolic Alchemy program, here are the main circadian-supporting compounds in Testosterone UP:

Ginkgo Extract (120mg):

  • May help regulate sleep-wake cycles
  • Can reduce cortisol and support stress management
  • However, dose is lower than the studied amount of 240mg for sleep benefits

Asian Ginseng (30mg):

  • Can improve sleep quality and reduce fatigue
  • Helps manage stress which impacts circadian rhythm
  • But significantly underdosed (effective range is 200-400mg daily)

MCT Oil (2400mg):

  • Provides stable energy throughout the day
  • Can help prevent blood sugar crashes that disrupt sleep
  • Good dose for basic benefits

BioPerine Complex (6mg):

  • Ginger component may help reduce inflammation
  • Could support digestion which affects sleep quality
  • Standard dose for absorption enhancement

The formula lacks key circadian regulators I recommend in Module 7 like:

  • Magnesium (crucial for deep sleep stages)
  • Vitamin D3 (helps set circadian timing)
  • Ashwagandha (stress/cortisol management)

Bottom line: While it contains some circadian-supportive ingredients, they’re mostly underdosed for meaningful sleep and hormone cycle benefits. You’d likely need additional supplements to properly support circadian health.

Testosterone UP’s stacking potential and key ingredients:

Best Stacking Options:

  • Add Boron (6-9mg) – Works synergistically with Tongkat Ali for free testosterone
  • Include Magnesium (400mg) and Zinc (30mg) at night for better sleep/recovery
  • Add Vitamin D3 (5000 IU) with K2 for hormone support
  • Consider Ashwagandha (600mg) for stress management

User Experiences: “Tribulus gives noticeable libido boost but needs higher doses. Works better stacked with Tongkat Ali and proper minerals.” – Consistent user report

Best Overall Stack Based on my Course Research and User Data:

  1. Testosterone UP (base formula)
  2. Boron (6mg)
  3. Magnesium Glycinate (400mg)
  4. Vitamin D3 (5000 IU) + K2
  5. Additional Tongkat Ali (100mg) to reach optimal dose

This stack addresses the main deficiencies in the base product while maximizing the benefits of existing ingredients. Results are typically noticeable within 3-4 weeks when combined with proper diet and training.

Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP V/S Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP Red with Nitric Oxide

Irwin Naturals Testosterone UP and its counterpart, Testosterone UP Red with Nitric Oxide, both aim to boost testosterone levels, but they have distinct formulations tailored for different outcomes.

The original Testosterone UP focuses on a blend that includes Zinc, Pumpkin Seed oil, Nettle extracts, and the notable LJ100 Tongkat Ali, emphasizing testosterone production and overall male vitality. On the other hand, Testosterone UP Red with Nitric Oxide leans more towards enhancing physical performance.

It introduces L-Citrulline, a precursor to Nitric Oxide, which is known to improve blood flow, potentially aiding in muscle growth and recovery. This version also incorporates Fenugreek, which has been linked to increased testosterone levels and improved exercise performance. Additionally, the inclusion of Beet powder, known for its nitrate content, further amplifies its focus on boosting physical performance.

While making the choice between the 2 products, follow this guideline-

Best for:

  • Testosterone UP:
    • Individuals seeking to elevate their testosterone levels.
    • Those aiming to enhance male vitality.
  • Testosterone UP Red with Nitric Oxide:
    • Athletically inclined individuals.
    • Those looking to improve workout performance and muscle recovery.
    • Individuals aiming for enhanced blood flow and physical prowess.

Testosterone UP Positive User reviews

1). After beginning a regular exercise program, I started taking this supplement and found that my endurance increased, and I was able to lose the last few pounds I had been struggling with for months. I’m not sure how much it helps with a workout, but I can tell you that it makes you feel like a 16 year old! I bought it first at a local store, then a larger bottle on Amazon.

2). I’m not sure if the product actually raises testosterone levels or not, but I do believe it helps. I haven’t noticed any increase in energy, but it definitely boosts my sex drive. Out of five times I’ve taken it, four of them have resulted in successful intercourse. I haven’t lost any weight, but I have gained some and I’m keeping an eye on my body fat percentage.

3). Overall, I think this product is helpful. I haven’t seen any drastic changes, but I do feel more energized and my sex drive has definitely been improved. I would recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their workouts or just feel more youthful.

Testosterone UP Negative user reviews

I have been taking this product for nearly three months as directed, but have not noticed any positive changes. Even after consuming two bottles, I still do not feel any different. Taking a multivitamin seems to have more of an impact than this product. I would have to have a blood test to determine if there are any real differences.
